Madaket

Travel as far west as you can go on Nantucket and find the village of Madaket. Tucked far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown you will find the homes here to have a very unique charm to them. With Madaket Harbor beaches offering calm, warm waters and the ocean-side surf beaches offering great fishing and surfing, its all about what you are in the mood for. And the most popular draw of this area are the spectacular sunsets! Be the last people on the island to say goodnight to a fun filled day.

• Millies Restaurant offers lunch and dinner service throughout the summer. Make sure to get their a bit early if you want a sunset view table for dinner!
• Millies Market features ice cream and grab and go items to fill you up during your day in Madaket
• Several hidden Land Bank properties offer great spots to access the harbor beaches, walk your dog, or enjoy the sunset.
• The Madaket bike path stretches from the Madaket Beach all the way to Town. Enjoy a spectacular biking experience past scenic vistas, ponds, and conservation lands.
• Head over Millie's Bridge towards Smith Point where you can air your tires down and drive onto the beach for an amazing day or evening. (Town beach sticker required, not always accessible due to changing sands and weather)
