Dionis

Dionis features some of the calmest and warmest waters on the island. With wide soft sand beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and generally stable dune habitats, this is a hidden gem. Here you are roughly half way between Town and Madaket for your choice or day or evening activities.

• 4.5 miles to Madaket Beach

• Try any of the north facing beaches for a great day of swimming and sunbathing. There are several public entry points off Eel Point Road, although few have parking so ride a bike or walk over to these spots. Dionis Beach has a nice parking lot if you are driving. A wonderful spot for the little ones for sure!
• The Linda Loring Nature Foundation offers 270 acres of open space to the public. There are amazing walking trails throughout and some fantastic bird watching opportunities.
• Sanford Farm is a short distance away off Madaket Road and a great location for runs, walks and dog walking.
