On Nantucket, there is not a single listing source for all short-term rental homes as there is for sales properties. Every homeowner choosing to work with real estate professionals to rent their home has the option to work with one or many agencies at their discretion. When a homeowner decides to list their home with us, we do our very best to make the setup process as streamlined as possible. Our Rental Manager will schedule a call or meet with you to discuss the materials needed and answer any questions you may have. We will then work with you to efficiently gather all that information.
When a tenant is found for your property, a rental agent will be in contact to confirm availability and the rate for the desired time period. From there, if all parties are agreeable to the terms, our agent/office will faciliate the lease signing, payment processing and all pre-check in communications.
During the rental period, your agent will be in touch with all parties to ensure a smooth check in and be the point of contact for all parties throughout. At check out your agent will ensure a timely departure, pick up the keys, and walk through the property to make sure everything is in order. They will report back to you should anything be amiss. Our agents will also keep in touch after the rental period regarding the security deposit return and to hopefully book a repeat tenant for the following year!
