An Evening at the Theatre
Nothing replicates the power of live theatre, and Nantucket is fortunate to have two excellent theatre companies. Theatre Workshop of Nantucket has been staging productions since 1956. Its current season includes

A Night Under the Stars
The Loines Observatory at 59 Milk Street Extension hosts public stargazing nights from 9 PM to 10:30 PM Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until Labor Day. The view through the telescope on clear skies is well worth the $10 admission price for nonmembers and takes place weather permitting.
