Summer months on Nantucket are busy. Therefore, we would like to encourage utilizing public transportation, or biking. Parking in the downtown area is limited and can get a little frustrating when running late for that dinner reservation! The local Nantucket shuttle runs frequent lines around the island from Memorial Day through Columbus Day. There are also multiple taxi companies as well as bike, car, and moped rentals services. Once you are downtown, most areas of interest are within walking distance from each other.
